Since it can get very hot in summer the best time to visit is either Spring or Fall. In Spring you can also visit Aksu Jabagly natural reserve and see wild tulips blooming. If you hiking go to Kolsay lakes and Kaindy lake and it is not so hot even in summer. The best time to visit the mountains in the south is either in summer or in winter for skiing and ice skating.
